My friend Jodi opened her thrift/art/ephemera store on Burnside tonight. ”Atomic Ashes” with the byline of “preserving the past”. This is a pricey black velvet painting of a Matador. I immediately thought of Ashby and sent her a birage of texts on the subject. Another great night in Portland.
